Content Strategy 101: Now with more content!:
We have updated our book-in-progress site, www.contentstrategy101.com, with new material. Official publication is still scheduled for September 2012.Highlights include portions of a new chapter on implementation, including sections on change management and risk management. We rearranged the chapters into something that we think makes more sense, added more visuals, and generally have a more coherent document.
There’s still a lot of work to be done, including discussions of content strategy patterns and more information about implementation. But I think the core of the book is in reasonable shape, especially the first few chapters, which address various business drivers for content strategy:
- Controlling technical communication costs
- Marketing and product visibility
- (this one still has a lot of missing pieces) Legal and regulatory
Tell us what you think. We have received lots of valuable feedback and has already incorporated some of it into the book. We cannot promise you fame and fortune, but we are including a list of commenters in the acknowledgments section.
