Turn your iPhone in to a retro looking camera, with the GIZMON iCA camera case and system:

GIZMON, one of the early adopters of add-on camera lenses for the iPhone have just launched the iCA case. Designed to look like an old school camera, this case offers bags of real camera like features, accessories and the ability to attached their macro and fisheye lenses.

This polycarbonate case offers a real shutter release button that can be used with the default camera app, or any other app that supports Apple’s shutter button feature, a micro hot shoe (not sure what this would be used for), a standard tripod mount, and more interestingly an “optical viewfinder”, although I am not sure how accurate this would be.

Whilst this case may look a little silly, and maybe overkill, what I find most interesting about this offering, is the list of add-ons known as the iCA System, which will include a telephoto lens, leather case, plus wrist and neck straps.

With the full range of accessories and pricing of these accessories yet to be announced, the GIZMON iCA case alone can be had for a whopping $65.00 USD from the Four Corner Store, and is available in black, white or brown.

More information on the GIZMON iCA case and iCA System can be found over on gizmon.com.
